The room had a nice view and a few cozy touches that gave it character, making it feel a bit unique. The complimentary tea and coffee setup was a helpful inclusion for a late-night sip while winding down.
Upon arrival at 5:30 pm, the cold hit hard as the heating was off in the older stone building, leaving it a touch too chilly until we turned on the upstairs heater. The double bed was more of a small double, not living up to expectations, and sound insulation fell short as I could hear outside noise clear as day. The velux window restrictions made the room feel stuffy and confined, combined with an unexpected lack of cooling facilities that left our drinks warm. Parking was cramped and required some maneuvering on the busy road outside. it had its quirks, but I expected more for the price paid.

A fair review – pros and cons
Self check-in and one entrance make arrival effortless. The deluxe double room offered luxurious bedding, a spacious en-suite, and convenient tea/coffee facilities, perfect for a comfortable night before travel.
Limited time to explore the little kitchen area meant it went unused. The late-night atmosphere felt a tad quiet, lacking vibrancy.

The Deluxe Double was a cozy little haven! Super clean with soft pillows and a comfy bed. Loved the small touches like tea and coffee facilities. Perfect little hideaway. Only downside? A bit noisy at night, and I felt the bed was more like a small double than I expected.

Hidden gem in the countryside
I was pleasantly surprised! The room was cozy and had this quaint charm. Sharon welcomed us, and it was nice to have self check-in. The bed? Super comfy! Plus, the whole place smelt fresh. Only thing was the WiFi was a bit spotty at times. Loved having coffee and biscuits available too!

The Old Farmhouse was a delightful stay! The communication from the host was excellent, providing clear instructions on parking and accessing the room via a handy lock box. The room itself was absolutely lovely with a very comfortable bed, a nice size shower, and even a packet of cookies as a warm welcome!
No internet connectivity was a bit disappointing.

Great Stay with Room for Improvement
I really enjoyed the stay, especially the warm and modern room that overlooked the garden—it was a cozy retreat! The bed was super comfortable and the spotless shower room added to the experience. the heating was off upon arrival, which left the room a bit chilly for some time. though, it was a pleasant experience.
